The Clerk (with assistance from staff) is responsible for the following areas:
- Maintaining a current, accurate registry of voters for Olive Township
- Supervising and conducting all school, township, state and national elections for
Olive Township
- Recording all actions, proceedings, resolutions and ordinances of the Township Board
- Maintaining accurate records and files of township proceedings
- Serving as an officer and voting member of the Township Board of Trustees
- Overseeing payroll and payables in conjunction with the Township Treasurer
- Maintaining accurate records of the township cemeteries
- Providing information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA coordinator)
- Overseeing Industrial Facilities Tax Exemptions applications and records
